About the Role: As a Software Development Engineer 2 (SDE 2), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and owning key modules within our software architecture. You will play a critical role in ensuring the scalability and reliability of our systems, with a strong focus on backend development using Node.js and full-stack capabilities with React. Additionally, knowledge of architecture patterns, cloud computing, and DevOps practices will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a module owner, taking full responsibility for the design, implementation, and maintenance of key software components.
- Develop scalable backend solutions using Node.js and integrate with frontend systems using React.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of complex systems, ensuring best practices in scalability and performance.
- Implement messaging and streaming solutions using technologies like Kafka.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD processes and ensure smooth deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Maintain and enhance technical documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends and contribute to technology strategy discussions.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend and full-stack development.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Expertise in Node.js, and proficiency with front-end frameworks like React.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure) and architecture patterns.
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka.
- Experience with databases like MySQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Understanding of caching strategies, CDN integration, and WAF (Web Application Firewall) security.
- Proven ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion.
- Experience in EasyEcom, WHM, or CRM systems like LeadSquared and Freshdesk integrations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in leading a small team or mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience working on security projects or WAF integration.
