ABAP Developer with Interface and Data Migration Project.


Responsibilities

· Responsible for Analysis, design, development, debugging, code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

· Support data extraction and transformation workshops to identify appropriate field mappings, value mappings and business rules.

· Data transformation with ABAP Programs for Meta Data and Physical files.

· Data load and cutover activities to migrate data to staging environment.

· Provision of medium and complex cleansing rules where required / perform testing in tool.


Requirements

· Minimum 5 years of strong SAP ABAP development experience with at least 2 years of SAP migration/Interface with PLM background.

· 1+ full life-cycle SAP implementations including post go-live support.

· In-depth understanding of and hands-on experience with OO ABAP, ABAP CDS Views, BADIs, and proxy classes for inbound and outbound interfaces.

· Solid experience troubleshooting, debugging, performance-tuning skills in ABAP.

· Experience with Data migration activities for sap modules for data extraction and data conversion activities.

· Must be able to work with multiple teams both offshore and onsite to help bring the team up-to-speed.

· Experience in end-to-end Data Migration Projects of SAP.

· Experience preparing Technical Specification documents.

· Strong ABAP knowledge, with CDS views.

· Technical understanding of data in terms of Configuration Data, Master Data and Transactional Data handling
