We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with expertise in Fivetran or Snowflake to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure data technologies and extensive hands-on experience with Fivetran or Snowflake, enabling efficient and scalable data integration and management solutions.

As a specialist in this domain, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and architectures to support our organization's data-driven initiatives.

Role : Azure Data Engineer

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid Mode)

Relevant Experience : 5+ Yrs.

Responsibilities :

1. Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and workflows using Fivetran or Snowflake on the Azure platform.

2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

3. Configure and customize Fivetran connectors or Snowflake integrations to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into Azure.

4. Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within Fivetran or Snowflake.

5. Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

6. Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to provide them with access to curated datasets in Fivetran or Snowflake for analysis and reporting.

7. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment, monitoring, and management tasks related to Fivetran or Snowflake environments.

8. Troubleshoot data pipeline issues, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues in collaboration with relevant teams.

9. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud data engineering, Fivetran, Snowflake, and Azure technologies.

10. Document data pipelines, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. 5+ years of experience in data warehousing

3. Proven experience as a data engineer, with specific expertise in implementing data solutions using Fivetran or Snowflake.

4. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Storage.

5. Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and manipulation.

6. Experience with data modeling concepts and techniques for designing efficient data warehouses and data lakes.

7. Strong understanding of ETL/ELT principles and best practices.

8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.

9. Experience with DevOps practices and tools for automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code is a plus.

10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

11. Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or related areas are desirable.
