Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced professional to

Lead the Tool Room with a primary focus on New Mold Making for Plastic Parts in the Consumer Durables and Automotive Components sectors

. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Mold design and in-house tool manufacturing and will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Tool Room, ensuring the efficient production of Molds for high-quality plastic parts.

Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Tool Room, focusing on the efficient functioning of the New Mold Making Facility.Oversee the design, development, and manufacturing of new Molds for plastic parts used in consumer durables and automotive components.Collaborate closely with procurement teams to source raw materials and tooling components essential for Mold production.Maintain accurate records and documentation of Mold designs, manufacturing processes, and maintenance activities.Regularly prepare and present performance and efficiency reports of the Tool Room to senior management.Oversee the P&L responsibility for the Tool Room, ensuring cost-effective operations and meeting financial targets.

Required Qualifications and Skills:Minimum 15+ years of experience in a managerial role within a Tool Room, with a focus on new Mold making for plastic parts in the consumer durables and automotive sectors.Proven leadership and team management skills, with a strong track record in the design and manufacturing of Molds for plastic components.Must have worked in organizations with in-house tool-making capabilities (experience in outsourcing tool production will not be considered).Familiarity with Mold manufacturing technology, including design, materials sourcing, and tooling.Willingness to relocate to Faridabad, India, for the duration of employment.Preferred: Diploma/Post-Diploma in Mold Making Technology from CIPET or an equivalent institution.

Note: We do not need candidates who are majorly into Maintenance or into Sheet Metal Dies. Person should have worked in a company where they have In House Tool Making Facility and not doing Out Sourcing of Tools.
