SAS & Communication Manager

Objective:The SAS & Communication Manager-Tx is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and prompt resolution for SAS and communication systems in transmission substations, spanning both greenfield and brownfield projects. The role includes supporting substation automation and communication initiatives, performing value engineering, and ensuring seamless Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and commissioning of SCADA systems, FOTE, and PLCC systems across thermal and transmission projects. The position demands collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational excellence, compliance, and performance standards. The candidate must demonstrate readiness for frequent travel within and outside the country as required.Experience and QualificationEducational Qualification:B.E. (Electrical/ Electronics & Communication)Work Experience (Range of years):7- 10 years of ExperienceExperience in Engineering, FAT & Commissioning of various OEM Substation Automation System, FOTE and PLCC systemExpertise in application, and technology for Substation Automation System IEC61850 (SCD, ICD & CID, GOOSE), FOTE and PLCCUnderstanding of CRP scheme, IED configuration and RTUUnderstanding on Cyber security aspects of SCADA, FOTE, PLCC systems and components.Operational Excellence:Ensure seamless project execution by conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and commissioning of Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and communication systems, adhering to quality standards and project timelines.Improve operational efficiency by developing and implementing cost-optimized SAS and communication system designs, minimizing downtime and enhancing system reliability.Enable uninterrupted grid operations by facilitating real-time data
