Position Overview:

Boeing India Supply Chain team is currently looking for an Experienced Supplier Program Management Specialist to join their team in Bangalore, India. This team seeks a highly-skilled and motivated individual.

We are a team of Supply chain professionals in India who support the Program Mgmt / Operational activities at suppliers for all three business units of Boeing. Commodities include, but are not limited to: Structures, Standards, Machined/sheet metal, Electrical and Electronics parts. This position requires a highly motivated professional to work through the supply chain and operations process and manage pre-award and post award activities, predominantly on Electrical and Electronics parts.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities Include leading the following activities:

Strong program management skill and work experience in Aerospace avionics domain.

Expertise in coordinating with cross function team to drive results

Supplier identification and assessment for Electrical, Electronics & computer systems, Display devices, Electro-Mechanical assemblies, avionics instrumentation, wire harness, electrical standards components etc.

Participate in technical audits to identify and onboard suppliers

Hands on experience in aerospace avionics assembly, PCBAs, PDP, box build assemblies, cockpit panels, Electro-Mechanical actuation system including thorough knowledge of Assembly- Integration- Testing will be a huge advantage

Experience of calibration and testing of various avionics system and electrical / electronic / instrumentation sub-assemblies & systems, and Ground Support Equipment is highly desirable

Experience in communication systems including antennas and radar systems will be an advantage

Candidate shall be familiar with the standards defined by the FAA and other regulatory bodies

Experience in supplier capability assessment, gap analysis and ability to drive supplier development initiatives, coaching and mentoring of suppliers. Shall have proven track record of technical issue resolution, yield improvement, root cause analysis etc…

Should be able to compile and analyze supplier performance data. Review key supplier and internal risk indicators to identify potential supplier performance issues.

Able to analyze key factors and assess supplier risks to develop plans. Identify and mitigate program and customer concerns.

Evaluate supplier performance and customer requirements & develop continuous improvement plans

Form collaborative partnership with suppliers and Supplier Management to develop risk, issue and opportunity plans. Develops supplier recovery plans to support unplanned demand requirements

Consolidate data and prepare written reports and presentations in support of program management reviews. Present supplier performance improvement recommendations

This role may demand relocation in future at the supplier bases.

Typical Education & Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Aerospace / Mechanical and typically 10 - 12 years of related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 8 to 12 years of related work experience. A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in EEE / ECE / Aerospace / Mechanical field of study.
