Job Description

Mandatory skills:Excellent Understanding of AOSP architecture and conceptsStrong knowledge of Android application Framework, Boot and Memory optimizationsStrong Knowledge on Android debug tool usage (Perfetto, GPU overdraw, profiler etc)Preferably with Automotive Android experienceMulti threaded application development experienceExperience in multi process and multiprocessor communication framework in AndroidExtremely proficient in Java, Android SDK, JNI, C++, JSON, Sqlite, RESTful APIsKnowledge in usage of KotlinNeed to have good knowledge of Android Core Components and IPC(AIDL) mechanism like BindersExperience with Android HAL and HIDL – Audio, Graphics, Camera, Sensors, Automotive etc.Android services – Media and System servicesKnowledge in Android run time, Native librariesAOSP – build and adaptationPreferred skills:Basic understanding of Linux kernel architecture and device drivers / BSPExperience with Android GASAndroid automotiveKey responsibilities include:Requirements analysis and clarificationPrepare concepts & design for HMI & HMI application FrameworkPrepare concepts & design for extensions in android services and managersCreate custom service and managersTechnical clarifications with stakeholdersTeam engagement, motivation and competency build-upEnsuring quality of deliverablesRisk identification and escalation to Project ManagerDeveloping or modifications of Android framework and native layers componentsClose operations with other leaders and project managersResolving Complex technical issues
