Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 1. Trainee Welfare & Safety:
  • Monitor the physical and mental well-being of student pilots.
  • Ensure timely intervention for stress, fatigue, or psychological issues affecting flight training.
  • Coordinate with medical examiners for DGCA Class I & II medical fitness requirements.
  • 2. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure student welfare and anti-ragging measures are in line with DGCA CAR Section 7, Series B guidelines.
  • Maintain updated student records, training logs, and welfare reports for audit purposes.
  • 3. Training & Discipline Support:
  • Assist in resolving student grievances related to flight schedules, instructors, or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) and Quality Manager for any welfare-related operational disruptions.
  • 4. Crisis & Emergency Response:
  • Act as part of the emergency response team during any incident/accident.
  • Provide psychological debriefing post-flight incidents
  • 5. Student Engagement & Communication:
  • Organize sessions on stress management, aviation lifestyle, and career preparedness.
  • Serve as the communication bridge between students, instructors, and management.

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate in Psychology, Social Work, or Aviation Management.
  • Familiarity with DGCA CAR, aviation training procedures, and safety protocols.
  • 5+ years of experience in student welfare, preferably in aviation training institutes.

Performance Metrics:

  • Compliance with DGCA student safety and welfare audits.
  • Effective resolution of student pilot issues affecting training performance.
  • Reduction in stress-related dropouts or training delays.

This will be assigned asap reporting to accountable manager and Director aviation
