Job Description :


This role involves interacting with software developers and includes understanding a sophisticated domain and products.

The sdet is instrumental in the development of automated functional component tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests through open-source test frameworks for overall system testing within an agile environment.

You must be adaptable, flexible, and able to succeed within a cohesive work environment.

The sdet must have a strong understanding of user and process requirements and skills to ensure those requirements can be achieved through high-quality work.

Responsibilities :


- Review functional, and design specifications and test script documents to ensure a full understanding of individual deliverables.

- Develop/contribute to the automation test strategy document.

- Establish an automated test environment.

- Develop test automation framework.

- Develop test automation script design pattern.

- Test script execution and coordinating test script execution using test management tool and automation tool.

- Defect logging and tracking using a bug management tool.

- Provide user support and coordinate resolution of issues to include change management, root cause analysis, and appropriate escalation as needed.

- Actively participate in meetings and events to acquire product knowledge of future projects.

- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

- Contribute to the team's growth by knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Requirements :


- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical field.

- 2+ years of work experience in software quality assurance.

- Hands-on experience with technologies like, java/c#, javascript, typescript, gherkin, xml, aws.

- Hands-on experience working with automation tools protractor, selenium web-driver, cucumber, rest assured.

- Hands-on experience with backend test automation of rest services using postman, rest assured, and json.

- Hands-on experience with frontend test automation using selenium, and cucumber.

- Hands-on experience with pl sql queries.

- Hands-on experience with ci/cd/ct to create builds using jenkins/gitlab.

- Experience working in agile/scrum development process.

- Hands-on experience with behavior-driven development (bdd) or test-driven development (tdd).

- Hands-on experience designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.

- Hands-on experience with data reconciliation, data analysis, data modeling, and data migration.

- Hands-on experience working with version control tools like git, and bitbucket.

- Experience integrating test automation with aws cloud.

- Experience with end-end testing of spring boot batch, jms.

- Experience with performance and security testing.

- Airline industry experience.

- Knowledge of mainframe applications.

- Hands-on experience testing on various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
