Senior GCP Architect

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in architecting and deploying digital solutions on GCP.
- Deep understanding of GCP services, including App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Firestore, BigQuery , and Apigee .
- Proven experience in digital engineering domains such as web/mobile platforms, digital customer experiences, and platform engineering.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture , API design , serverless computing , and container orchestration (GKE) .
- Proficient in Terraform , Cloud Build , or other infrastructure automation tools.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, DevSecOps, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in agile, cross-functional teams.
*Key Responsibilities: *
- Architect and implement modern, cloud-native digital solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support business agility and rapid innovation.
- Partner with digital product teams to define cloud strategies aligned with user experience, scalability, and performance goals.
- Lead the design of microservices-based, event-driven, and API-first architectures for digital platforms and applications.
- Enable seamless integration between front-end channels (web, mobile) and back-end systems using cloud-native services and APIs.
- Champion DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code practices to ensure automated, resilient, and scalable deployments.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, security, and UX teams to deliver cohesive digital solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging GCP services (e.g., AI/ML, BigQuery, Apigee, Firebase) into the digital architecture roadmap.
- Drive architectural governance and ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance best practices.
