Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Physical Education
who can deliver our structured sports curriculum to students across different grades. The role requires a professional who is passionate about fitness, pedagogy, and child development, while also being a mentor who can instill discipline, teamwork, and resilience in students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Shazam Sports' structured physical education and sports curriculum to assigned classes.
  • Conduct warm-up, skill-building drills, marching, team games, and cool-down activities as per lesson plans.
  • Assess student performance periodically and submit reports as per curriculum guidelines.
  • Maintain discipline, punctuality, and safety standards during all sessions.
  • Collaborate with academic teachers and school management to integrate sports into overall child development.
  • Identify and nurture sporting talent among students for intra-school and inter-school competitions.
  • Maintain sports equipment inventory, ensure accountability, and follow handover protocols.
  • Provide mentorship to students on fitness, health, and lifestyle habits.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (M.P.Ed) or Bachelor's degree (B.P.Ed) in Physical Education (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in school/academy/club-level sports training.
  • Strong knowledge of locomotor skills, motor skills, fitness drills, and at least 2–3 core sports (e.g., football, basketball, cricket, athletics).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Ability to maintain discipline, motivate students, and create an inclusive sporting environment.
  • Passion for children's holistic development through sports.
