Aboutthe Role: We are seekingexperienced Senior Design Engineers to join our team urgently. As aSenior Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design anddetailed engineering of pressure vessels and process columnsprimarily for refineries and the petrochemicalindustry.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Designand detailed engineering of pressure vessels and process columnsaccording to industry standards and codes such as ASME andTEMA.
- Proficiency in ASME Section VIII Div.1& 2 TEMA and ASME SectionII.
- Utilize designsoftware like PVElite and AutoCAD for projectrequirements.
- Familiarity with materialspecifications commonly used for pressure vessels and processcolumns.
- Conduct design calculations stressanalysis and review of drawings.
- Ensureaccuracy in the bill of materials and documentation and maintainrecords as per relevant standards.
- Reviewinquiry specification sheets and drawings provided byclients/consultants providing appropriateoutputs.
- Collaborate with engineeringconsultants external suppliers and clients to finalize requirementsand specifications.
- Lead designrelatedactivities for ASME U stamp audits and ISOaudits.
- Close coordination with ProjectsProcurement Shop Planning Production and Quality functions to meettechnical requirements as percontract.
Requirements:
- Immediatejoiners are preferred.
- Strong communication andcoordination skills.
- Proven experience indesign engineering within the petrochemical or refineryindustry.
- Bachelors or higher degree inMechanical Engineering orequivalent.
- Demonstrated proficiency in designsoftware and industry codes.
- Ability to workeffectively within crossfunctionalteams.
