Commodity Analyst

Job Description
Analyst / Sr. Analyst is required to perform duties as per the below enlisted description
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of global commodity markets, including but not limited to energy, metals, agriculture, and soft commodities.
Monitor market developments, news, and geopolitical events to identify potential opportunities and risks impacting commodity prices.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast commodity price movements and assess market dynamics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and refine analytical methodologies.
Prepare and present insightful reports, presentations, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance analysis capabilities.
Provide ad hoc support and analysis for special projects and initiatives as required.
Education and other skills:
CA/CFA/MBA having over 1-2 years of experience in commodity analysis, trading, or research within a financial institution, commodity trading firm, or related industry.
Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and financial modeling techniques.
Excellent understanding of commodity markets, including supply and demand dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and trading strategies.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts and insights effectively to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a passion for staying ahead of market trends.
