The recruiter should understand recruitment practices and be technically proficient in recruitment software and hiring processes. Key qualities include patience, confidence, communication, and critical thinking. Adaptability in the dynamic field of recruitment is crucial.
Required Core Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication and comprehension skills.
- Details are important, and the small things matter. Should have the ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office and any other work-related software or applications.
- Willingness to learn and the flexibility to work as part of a team with a passion for getting results.
- Display the highest standard of ethical conduct and integrity.
- He/she understands shifting priorities, is comfortable navigating through ambiguous situations, and can juggle multiple and varied projects simultaneously. Have good administrative, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
What does the HR Recruiter do?
- Learn about main HR functions and processes.
- Recruitment needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source potential candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct virtual and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the position.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the selection process.
- Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed.
- Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment with selected candidates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Starting salary after appointment: ₹ 20,000 to ₹ 25,000
