Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

What you ’ll do• Lead the design and implementation of advanced automation solutions to enhance technology infrastructure operations. • Architect scalable and efficient infrastructure automation systems utilizing AWS cloud services • Develop and maintain automation systems using object-oriented programming languages, leveraging modern IDEs such as Cursor for efficient development. • Utilize AWS cloud services to build scalable and efficient infrastructure automation systems. • Apply expertise in Linux systems to script and automate operations effectively. • Utilize advanced knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including load balancers, firewalls, and network protocols, to develop robust automation solutions. • Implement and optimize configuration automation with tools like Ansible and Terraform to streamline deployment processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation initiatives and integrate solutions across various technological areas. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development What’s required • 10+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with a Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science or a similar discipline. • Strong proficiency in programming using an object-oriented programming language, such as Rust, Java or Python. • Expertise with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Route53, IAM. • Experience in developing software systems integrated with real time messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. • Deep understanding of Linux systems and system operations automation. • Strong fundamentals on networking concepts and technologies. • Basic knowledge of configuration automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform. • Experience with developing systems that integrate with relational databases and non-relational stores, such as Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB. • Knowledge of monitoring tools, such as Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog. • Strong software design skills for large-scale systems. • Ability to clarify requirements and build detailed execution plans. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
