Summary:


We are seeking a Chemistry expert with a knack to generate creative and innovative approaches to demonstrate concepts and transform static textbooks into captivating, immersive learning experience for students of grades 9 -12.


This role will empower you to:


  • Research and develop gamified content: Create out of the box, fun to learn interactive experience on concepts of Organic Chemistry (GOC and Functional Groups), Inorganic concept of Chemistry and Surface Chemistry).
  • Foster deeper understanding: Develop learning materials that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills by scaffolding progressive questions up to Olympiad level.
  • Inspire a love of math: Create engaging content that makes Chemistry accessible and enjoyable for students by blending mix of interactive content, concept and experiments.
  • Visualize complex concepts: Use animations, videos, and 3D models to simplify difficult chemistry ideas.


Location: Extramarks Head Office, Noida (On-site), Sector -136


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with designers and developers to create engaging scripts for:
  • Animated GIFs and videos explaining chemical reactions, processes, and phenomena.
  • 3D models of molecules, structures, and equipment.
  • Interactive elements like simulations, quizzes, and games for enhanced learning.
  • Ensure scientific accuracy and adherence to relevant curriculum standards in all content creation.
  • Break down complex chemical concepts into easy-to-understand language suitable for the target audience (Grades 9-12).
  • Provide insightful feedback and suggestions for improving the overall effectiveness and interactivity of the learning materials.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and advancements in educational technology and interactive learning methods.


Qualifications:


  • BS (4-Year) Chemistry or M.Sc. (with PhD preferred) in Chemistry from a reputed university (IIT, NIT, GFTI or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of experience in developing engaging and effective educational content for 6-12 Chemistry.
  • Strong understanding of the Chemistry curriculum for Grades 6-12.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and ideation of interactive learning experiences.
  • Proficient in using educational technology tools and MS Office.
