Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer at Pridewear in Ghaziabad . The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating new designs and overseeing the production of designs. The Fashion Designer will work with the design team to develop new ideas, create tech packs and conduct market research. The Fashion Designer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Job purpose:

Planning and designing new ready-to-wear collections as well as creating technical sketches for production.

QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Fashion Design or a related fieldMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in fashion design and/or productionStrong knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to create designs that are both fashionable and practicalProficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and CorelDRAWKnowledge of Indian traditional crafts such as Shibori, Block Printing, natural dyes etc.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectivelyAbility to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Location:

We are based in NCR area of Ghaziabad, U.P. with close proximity to both Noida and Delhi.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion Design or related fields

Work Experience:

2+ years design experience in the industry (including any internships) is a plus
