Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge NLP models and algorithms to solve real-world challenges in healthcare, finance, and other industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machine learning, linguistics, and programming, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Model Development:
Design and develop state-of-the-art NLP models for tasks such as text classification, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and language generation.
Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) like GPT, BERT, or similar for domain-specific applications.
Create and maintain multilingual NLP pipelines tailored for regional languages.
Data Preprocessing and Annotation:
Develop robust data preprocessing pipelines, including tokenization, stemming, and lemmatization.
Collaborate with domain experts to annotate datasets and create custom ontologies.
Algorithm Optimization:
Optimize NLP algorithms for scalability and performance on edge devices and cloud platforms.
Implement efficient data representation techniques, including word embeddings and contextual embeddings.
Integration and Deployment:
Integrate NLP models with existing systems and applications, ensuring compatibility and scalability.
Deploy NLP solutions in production environments with robust monitoring and error-handling mechanisms.
Research and Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and machine learning.
Experiment with new architectures and techniques to improve model performance and user experience.
Collaboration:
Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to align NLP solutions with business goals.
Document processes, results, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Analytical Skills and Research and Development (R&D) experience
Process Engineering expertise
Signal Processing knowledge
Experience in Chemical Engineering
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
