Job Description

We are looking for a Performance Tester. This position will be full-timeand Onsite Gurugram.

What You'll Do

  • Understand business and technical requirements to define performance test objectives, scope, and success criteria.
  • Identify key business transactions and workload models.
  • Prepare detailed performance test plans, test data strategies, and execution schedules.
  • Create and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter, or similar tools.
  • Simulate various load conditions including baseline, stress, endurance, and spike tests.
  • Integrate performance test execution with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct regular script maintenance to ensure alignment with application changes.
  • Monitor system performance during test execution using tools like Grafana, Prometheus.
  • Capture and analyze key performance metrics (response time, throughput, CPU, memory, network usage).
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, root causes, and potential optimizations.
  • Performance Testing Tools: JMeter(basic to advanced scripting).
  • CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Grafana, Prometheus
  • Version Control Systems: Git, Bitbucket.
  • Collaboration & Test Management Tools: JIRA, TestRail, Confluence.
  • Log and track performance issues using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Provide detailed analysis reports with recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to retest after fixes.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Mandatory).
  • Performance Testing Certification (Apache JMeter) preferred.
  • 4–7 years of experience in performance testing for web, mobile, and backend systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience in JMeter (mandatory) and exposure to LoadRunner or similar tools.
  • Experience in workload modeling, performance test scripting, and execution.
  • Ability to monitor, analyze, and interpret performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD integration for performance testing.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database performance validation.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Physical Demands

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationery most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
