Role Overview

As an iOS and Android Web App Developer at Ed Labs, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our mobile web applications for iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with the design and back-end development teams to create seamless and performant user experiences across different devices.


Responsibilities

  • Mobile Web App Development: Develop and maintain mobile web applications for iOS and Android platforms using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsiveness of the web applications across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Integration with Native Features: Integrate web applications with native features and capabilities of iOS and Android platforms, such as push notifications, device sensors, and camera access.
  • Optimization and Performance: Optimize the web applications for performance, speed, and efficiency, ensuring smooth and seamless user experiences.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement UI/UX designs and integrate with back-end APIs.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the web applications to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
  • Documentation: Document the development process, codebase, and any technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Qualifications and Skills Strong experience in mobile web app development for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
  • Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Experience with hybrid mobile app development frameworks such as React Native.
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android platform-specific features and APIs.
  • Experience with testing and debugging tools for mobile web apps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Work Hours and Nature of Work We will have a standard 40-hour workweek. Our workplace is entirely remote, and you are expected to work from anywhere you find convenient. Our office hours are flexible and accommodating of individual preferences.
