Job Summary:

The IT Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation, security, and support of hardware, software, and network systems. This role includes troubleshooting technical issues, implementing IT solutions, and supporting end-users to maximize productivity.


Key Responsibilities:


System Administration:


  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and other IT hardware.
  • Manage operating systems(e.g., Windows, Linux, macOS) and enterprise software.
  • Configuration & Troubleshooting Apple JAMF Devices (MacBook, iMacs and Phones)
  • Manage & Maintain Automated dialling systems to optimize call centre operations
  • Identity Management IDM & Identity Governance (IGA) Set up and Manage Identity Management (IDM) & Identity Governance (IGA) Solutions
  • Identity and Access Administration (IAM): Manage access and permissions of users across various systems and applications, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime.
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.


Network Management:


  • Oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Experience with Mac and Linux environments, networking, switches, and routing.
  • Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency and security.
  • Configure and maintain VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
  • Ensure the organization complies with cybersecurity best practices and standards.


User Support:


  • Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Train staff on IT tools, applications, and security protocols.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and licenses.


Security:


  • Implement and enforce IT security measures, including endpoint protection, email filtering, and regular security audits.
  • Experience with automation tools and security solutions, including SSO and endpoint management systems.
  • Respond to and mitigate security incidents, such as breaches or malware infections.
  • Manage access controls and ensure adherence to data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).


IT Strategy and Projects:


  • Assist in planning and executing IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or new technology implementations.
  • Research and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for procurement and support.
  • Leading Vendor Management, forecast and plan all purchases related to office administration and IT like equipment, AMCs, supplies, other purchases.


Qualifications:


Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT administration, systems management, or a similar role.


Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP,DNS, DHCP) and hardware.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with SAP Modules (Added Advantage)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms is a Plus (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Workspace).
  • Hands-on experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
  • Proficiency with corporate IT systems such as Office 365


Soft Skills:


  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.


Work Environment:


  • Primarily office-based with occasional requirements to visit other sites.
  • May require lifting or moving IT equipment.
  • On-call availability for critical issues outside regular working hours.
