The ABAP S4 HANA Developer plays a vital role in the development and maintenance of SAP applications within a company aiming for digital transformation. The ABAP S4 HANA Developer will contribute to the effective integration of business processes and leverage best practices to deliver robust and scalable applications, thereby enabling the organization's strategic goals. Highly skilled in technical analysis and problem-solving, this role is essential for driving operational efficiency and providing continuous improvement in SAP solutions.

Responsibilities :


- Develop and maintain SAP ABAP applications in S4 HANA.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements.

- Optimize existing ABAP code for better performance and efficiency.

- Implement enhancements and modifications as per project requirements.

- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of applications.

- Develop and maintain custom interfaces, reports, and enhancements.

- Support data migrations and system upgrades.

- Document functional and technical specifications for projects.

- Participate in project planning and execution for SAP initiatives.

- Mentor junior developers and provide expert guidance.

- Ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.

- Engage in SAP community forums and continuous learning.

- Work closely with Basis teams for system performance evaluations.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Assist with end-user training and support.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in ABAP development.

- Hands-on experience with S4 HANA architecture.

- Expertise in object-oriented programming in ABAP.

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 is a plus.

- Strong understanding of SAP modules and business processes.

- Proficiency in performance tuning and debugging ABAP programs.

- Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management.

- Understanding of version control systems like GIT.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

- Certification in SAP ABAP or S4 HANA is desirable.
