Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Medical Officer to join our steel plant medical team. The role requires providing comprehensive medical care to employees, handling occupational health issues, and ensuring statutory compliance in line with industrial health standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid and emergency medical care for occupational injuries and accidents.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage common illnesses and chronic conditions of employees.
  • Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations.
  • Implement occupational health and wellness programs.
  • Maintain medical records and statutory health documentation as per Factory Act.
  • Coordinate with HR and Safety teams for employee health and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industrial health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct awareness and training sessions on health, hygiene, and preventive care.

Key Skills:

  • Strong clinical and emergency care management.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and industrial safety standards.
  • Proficiency in handling medical equipment (ECG, nebulizer, oxygen therapy, etc.).
  • Good administrative and reporting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle critical situations effectively.
