Using different automation tools, you will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading the SQA effort on major products / releasesResponsible for creating test schedules, detailing test cases, test plans, and consolidating, and reporting test resultsResponsible for using latest Microsoft technologies to design and maintain automation for existing and new productsSet up test environments for automation activitiesTrack test coverage and key metricsContribute to the continuous improvement of the QA processes and ensure repeatabilityBe a technology champion/mentor and work with others to effectively use new technology to build effective automationInteract with other departments to gather/understand business requirements.Ensures strong commitment to on-time, quality delivery of all projects and deliverablesMust be assertive and willing to escalate issues when a project/task is negatively impactedQUALIFICATIONSB.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or other engineering degree3+ years experience working in SQA Test Engineer role on software development projects3+ years experience in programming with C/C++/C# or JavaTest Automation experience with GUI (HTTP/XML, JAVA, web services) and non-GUI applications (API, databases)Experience with RDBMS and SQL , SQL Server Preferred3+ yrs of test automation experience using at least 1 commercial or open source test tool (Preferred Selenium, Ready API)Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, AZDO, JIRA, ConfluenceExperience working with distributed teams is a plusExperience with iterative development and agile methodologiesExperience working with distributed teamsBenefitsWe are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees, and enhancing our programs when necessary.Have peace of mind and body with our health insuranceMake yourself a priority with flexible schedules and leave PolicyDrive forward your career through professional development opportunities Achieve your personal goals with our Employee Assistance Program.Our commitment to youOur greatest assets are the expertise, creativity and passion of our employees.
