Job Description – IICS Developer (Hybrid at either Bengaluru / Chennai )
Own the technical support team from triage, response, team coordination, and escalation in relation to application integrations, data hub / data warehousing, and ELT/ETL processes
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and mappings using IICS for data integration, data migration, and data warehousing projects.
- Collaborate with data architects, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and processing.
- Perform data profiling, data quality checks, and data cleansing to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
- Monitor and manage scheduled jobs, ensuring timely data availability across systems.
- Integrate data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files) into target systems, including data warehouses and data lakes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including ETL design specifications, data flow diagrams, and process workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and coding standards.
- Implement data security and governance measures to protect sensitive information.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ETL technologies, data integration trends, and IICS updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in ETL development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud data integration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for data manipulation and automation.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data governance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in Informatica or cloud platforms are a plus.
