Automation Test Engineer - Playwright

Summary

DSRC is seeking a QA Engineer with experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise with Java and Playwright. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced delivery team dedicated to building high-quality enterprise applications.

Experience: 5+ years

Remote/Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document testing processes, create test reports, and contribute to quality assurance procedures. Design, write, and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support agile release cycles.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
  • Log, prioritize, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes and automation frameworks.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within an Agile environment.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment, actively participating in daily scrum meetings and sprint reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Playwright
  • Atleast 2+ years of hands-on experience in Playwright
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficient in using defect tracking tools such as JIRA
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and clients
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment
