Network Routing (WAN Technology) Cisco ACI Engineer

Experience Required

8 to 12 years of experience in WAN technology and Cisco ACI solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Cisco ACI Design and Implementation:
    • Design, plan, and implement Cisco ACI solutions based on business requirements.
    • Configure and deploy ACI fabrics, policies, and application profiles.
    • Configure Tenant, BD, Contracts in ACI.
  • Network Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Provide advanced-level support for network-related issues, including ACI-related incidents.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve network problems in collaboration with the network operations team.
  • Policy Management:
    • Implement and manage policies and security controls within the Cisco ACI fabric.
    • Ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices.
  • Network Automation:
    • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and enhance network efficiency.
    • Work towards creating a self-service model for network provisioning and management.
  • Capacity Planning:
    • Conduct capacity planning for the Cisco ACI infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
    • Monitor and analyze network traffic patterns and resource utilization.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for Cisco ACI configurations, changes, and procedures.
    • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine tasks.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other IT teams, including system administrators, security professionals, and application developers.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate ACI with other technologies.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and other IT staff.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to Cisco ACI.
