ConfidentialJOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title:Civil Construction HeadLocationRihand, UttarpradeshDepartmentRihand SiteReporting toSite Manager@ RihandPosition Purpose:Managing the complete Civil and structural related construction works from conception to completion during execution.To do Detail Study on technical specifications & scope /deliverables, having knowledge of Estimation for determining technical specifications and supporting detailed engineering of the project.DimensionsConstruction management in civil & structural works.Managing the multiple civil, structural and erection Contractors.To collaborate with partners and key stakeholders (communities, governments, vendors, contractors and enterprises).Complete know how & exposure about construction planningComplete know how & exposure on resource estimation etc.Management of local procurement.Principal AccountabilitiesInclude but not limited toResponsible for complete civil & structural construction activities.Prepare construction schedule based on the overall project schedule.Site preparation as per the construction scheduleManpower and other resource planning as per schedule requirement.Monitoring the cost of site activities and maintain it within budgetsMake necessary cost estimate for the site activities as and when required.Make the proper arrangement with the help of Area Supervisors and meet targets.Determines project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs as required during the execution.(as and when required)Check all of the Site Execution Work with the help of Drawing.Work closely with Project Manager & Logistics/ Planning Engineers for understanding and accomplishing their requirements regarding Data Analysis, and Reporting of the Analysis.Preparation and checking of sub-contractor bills.Supervise and control the Inspection of material as per site requirement.Maintaining the DPR (Daily Progress Report), Weekly & Monthly Field PlanningNature & ScopeDetail Study on technical specifications & scope /deliverables,Having knowledge of Estimation for determining technical specifications and supporting detailed engineering of the projectStudy on project schedule & understanding on requirements of resources/construction equipment & sub-contractor.Experienced in Liaising with clients, designer, consultants, contractors & external agencies for based on technical specifications, knowledge on requirements of approvals and obtaining statutory clearances.Review the project in-depth schedule deliverables and estimate cost of each Civil and structural deliverable, manpower & other resources planning.Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations, sub-contractors and construction works.Select equipment, machinery, materials and tools and track inventoryDetail Study to meet the contractual conditions of performance,Having adequate knowledge on various execution methodology & preparation of the method statement and considering highest industrial safety StandardReview the work progress on daily basis, monitoring projects with respect to contractor ability & deployed resource, timely follow up on resources (manpower/equipment) acceleration to ensure timely execution of projects. Conduct daily /weekly meeting with sub agencies.Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job statusPlan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging once from the supervisor/subcontractor daily reports/inputsQuantity Surveying for the executed volume of work , including forecasting Time over-runs , Timely contractual advice, cost control advises, ability to bear the project pressure.Negotiate terms and agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences for various government and non-government agency as per project requirementsAnalyse , manage and mitigate riskEnsure quality construction standards and use proper construction technique as per the Standards followed by MHPSCoordinate with the design/engineering office for the drawings and documents/material deliveries close monitoring & follow up with procurement team to ensure the timely completion of construction worksAbility to Prepare the Monthly measurement sheet%u2019s & running bill , responsible for the timely submission & certification of monthly progress from customer,Address the financial management issues of construction projects from inception to completion and Implementing Quality ComplianceReporting to Site in charge regarding the progress, catch up plans, important issues etcPreparation and checking of sub-contractor bills.Person ProfileEducational QualificationB.Tech/B.E /r Diploma in Civil discipline.Experience20+years’ experience in a relevant and similar role.Specific SkillSite Civil Engineering / Project ManagementExperience as Civil /Structural site engineer in Power Plant /Industrial -Project execution out of which at least 5-8 years as Construction Manager/Site Manager/in charge for establishment with EPC background onCivil/Structural steel execution.Issue 11
