What you will do
As Server Management Security specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

•    E2E Linux (SUSE and RHEL) OS administration, Incident and Escalation handling etc.
•    Analyse and harden existing infrastructure, limit system’s exposure to single points of failure and security vulnerabilities.
•    Configuring cloud storage, networking, and security functionalities.
•    Security Patch Management, Vulnerability Remediation on OS layers
•    Support Production critical infrastructures
•    Rolling out solutions/tools (TrendMicro, Ansible, BMC etc.) in product development infrastructure.
•    Experience working any one Hyperscalers (GCP or AWS or Azure).
•    Assisting in demo, POC, support activities, and actively learning on the job.
•    Work in projects involving global teams.

•    Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing.
•    Strong technical problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
•    Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
•    Fluency both written and spoken in English
•    Customer orientation with a strong focus on quality and business outcomes 
•    Suggest and drive improvements in how the team works. Collaborate with teammates to hone your ideas and build consensus.
 
Tech you bring

•    Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent education 
•    Any Security certifications are appreciated.
•    Any Certifications on SUSE/RHEL Linux OS Administration and Architecture.
•    5+ years of professional experience as an engineer and technical leader.
•    Extensive expertise with Linux based systems and Linux architecture.
•    Experience in handling security management tools like Tenable, BMC, TrendMicro etc.
•    Strong in fundamentals including Networking, Security, OS concepts, Virtualisation etc.
•    Experience scripting (Shell, Python..).
•    Good understanding of modern automation, build and cloud technologies is a plus.

•    Platform and Systems Operations (PSO) is a global organization delivering SAP product systems internally for Development, Pre-sales, Training and Consulting business units. With our highly motivated employees worldwide and a team of 150 employees we adopt modern tools, innovate and simplify existing processes to empower excellence and agility in SAP. 
•    We manage large scale diverse product development and production systems. 
•    We also provide mission critical premium support for Development Production landscapes.
•    Our teams consists of Basis, DB, OS and Hyperscalers(SAP CC/Google Cloud) consultants.
