About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Engineer with 3+ years of professional experience to design, build, and optimize backend services powering our AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in backend engineering and exposure to AI/ML workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django)
  • Build and optimize APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
  • Collaborate with AI/ML/UI engineers to integrate models into production
  • Implement best practices in testing, CI/CD, observability, and security
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and cost in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of backend development experience with Python
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployment workflows
  • Experience with LLM/GenAI APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.)
  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows (model serving, inference, or data pipelines)
  • Good understanding of scalability, reliability, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of Linux/WSL2 required for app development
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of vector databases, message queues, or streaming systems
