Role Title: SAP MDG Consultant

Role Purpose

The SAP MDG Consultant will be responsible for managing Master Data Governance using the SAP MDG tool in the FI and SCM domains, ensuring integrity, consistency, and accuracy of accounting and supply chain master data. The role involves driving enhancements, data migration, continuous improvements, and providing project support in SAP MDG and S4 HANA environments.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple deliverables, stakeholders, and tight deadlines.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

  • Drive SAP MDG projects related to enhancements and data migration in FI and SCM master data objects.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for SAP MDG and S4 HANA upgrades.
  • Provide timely support for operational master data management issues using SAP MDG.
  • Diagnose problem areas and design innovative solutions in SAP MDG.
  • Lead data migration and configuration activities for rollout projects.
  • Translate business needs into functional designs and detailed specifications.

  • Proven experience in SAP MDG projects, performing MDG configurations and customizations in:
  • Data Modeling
  • UI Modeling
  • Process Modeling
  • Data Replication Framework
  • Key Mapping
  • BRF+, Validations & Derivations
  • Strong domain knowledge in Material, Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, and Finance Masters in SAP MDG & S4 HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with full lifecycle implementations (design, fit-gap analysis, build, configuration, migration, cutover, go-live).
  • Expertise in consolidation, harmonization, and central maintenance of FI & SCM master data.
  • Experience in post-implementation support and monitoring activities.
  • Knowledge of SAP MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager (FPM) customizations in Material & Business Partner.
  • Experience in data migration and integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP BTP and SAP MDG Cloud services.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and stakeholder management skills.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • SAP MDG experience: Minimum 5+ years (Techno-Functional role).
  • Overall 10–15 years of SAP Retail/SAP domain experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: SAP MDG Certification.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹2,000, ₹2,600,000.00 per year
