Key Skills to Succeed in This Role:5+ years of industry experienceMS or Ph D. in Statistics, or a related field, with relevant work experience, preferably in a laboratory science environment.Demonstrated application of statistical methods, including descriptive and inferential statistics, general linear and mixed models and statistical design of experiments.Strong computational/programming skills: proficient in programming with html, R, Python, SQL or equivalent, knowledge of a variety of commercial statistical/computational packages, familiar with Linux, cloud computing and high performance computing environment.Independently develop and deploy statistical / computation applets using Python and R.Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly explain statistical concepts in the context of experimental goals.Good team player with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships.The ability to be independent and learn new skills quickly.Flexibility to manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.Desired:Coursework in a scientific discipline (chemistry, biology, engineering).Prior experience working in pharmaceutical research and development.Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Spotfire or Tableau.Working knowledge in applying statistics in process characterization, analytical method
