Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with expertise in Automation Testing and proficiency in multiple automation technology, particularly in Cypress technology, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, extensive experience in test automation frameworks, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.·
Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress technology.·
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.·
Identify, prioritize, and report software defects, tracking them to resolution.·
Perform regression testing to validate software functionality and performance.·
Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve software quality and reliability.·
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.·
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on testing best practices and automation techniques.
Minimum Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.·
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.·
Proficiency in Automation Testing frameworks, with specific expertise in Cypress technology.·
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.·
Solid knowledge of software testing principles, techniques, and tools.·
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.·
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.·
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.·
Familiarity with other automation testing tools such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, or Appium.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
·
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.·
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.·
Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.·
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or related fields.
