Job Title: NOC Engineer

Experience: 5-8 years

Location: Chennai / Bangalore

Requirements:

Must be able to work any assigned shift in a 24/7/365 environment including weekends and holidays; must be flexible with changing shifts as needed

Work experience on Snow, CMDB

Telecommunications and/or IP network job related experience

LAN – Cisco (Routing and Switching)

Operational ongoing support.

Understanding of the design networks (LAN, WAN)

Should have knowledge and hands-on on end routers, switches & firewall.

Should have knowledge on switching i.e. VLANs, HSRP, MHSRP, VRRP etc.

Deployment of Cisco Switches, Router and Access Points

Should have experience working with various networking protocols, like RIP, OSPF, EIGRP and BGP.

Should have good knowledge working on L2 and Multilayer Cisco Switches.

Understand VLAN, VXLAN, STP, RSTP and various switching protocols.

Implementing network security blueprints prepared by security architects.

Good knowledge on Network Security, Access Policies, Firewalls. Palo Alto and Zscaler Platform exposure.

Policy and VLAN configuration as per customer business needs

Rollout of LAN and Wi-Fi services

Should have excellent communications skills.

Requirements:

Cisco CCNA and/or on the job experience managing and supporting Cisco technology.

Must be able to work any assigned shift in a 24/7/365 environment including weekends and holidays; must be flexible with changing shifts as needed

Should have a good knowledge of Network Security

Telecommunications, RF, Microwave, Wi-Fi, IP networking and trouble resolution

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Independent problem solver and strong team player capable of making solid fact-based decisions under pressure.

Strong troubleshooting skill; solid understanding of network fundamentals and concepts

Service Desk/NOC Experience
