RESPONSIBILITIES

StrategyEnsure appropriate BAU controls are being established within RRSD and deployed effectively in GBS.Support new Business requests through Product programmes and Country addendumsLook for possibilities of leveraging on synergy within the various process through automation thereby bringing in improvements.BusinessHelp the team to pursue the strategic intent and agenda for RRSDHelp to improve client experience through more efficient and effective processing in tandem with Risk, Client Coverage and Front Office usersProcessesUnderstanding the Bank’s Balance Sheet framework and Global Balance sheet capabilities.Drive Capital and Liquidity Efficiency through IBSM model along with accurate forecasting process.Support the delivery of Strategic development like RoTE objectives through efficient usage of the Balance Sheet.To work together with Treasury to achieve the shared objectives of Business and Treasury.Analyse the Bank’s Liability management process and support on the same.People & TalentCompliance with all relevant process procedure, guidelines, rules & regulationsTo work and solve problems independently and be able to work in a deadline-oriented environmentRisk ManagementEmbed new Operational Risk framework into monitoring processes and report any escalations to Management.Monthly monitoring of CST and performance measurement of KCIsGovernanceWork closely with Operational Excellence & Change management team members to understand key issues and processes and drive automation of processes.Adherence to mandatory certifications and operational requirementsRegulatory & Business ConductDisplay exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.Key stakeholdersCPM stakeholdersTreasury stakeholdersTB stakeholdersCEO, CIB officeAssociated Technology partnersBusiness desksGBS Management teamOther ResponsibilitiesParticipate in at least 2 days of volunteering per yearParticipate in engagement activities of Risk Ops and GBSBe motivated and actively engage in activities like innovation and automation initiativesTo hold assigned roles of First Aider / Fire Warden / ADCC as appropriate and discharge the expected responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONSTRAINING, LICENSES, MEMBERSHIPS AND CERTIFICATIONSPostgraduates with MBA/PGDM qualification from a reputed Business School with 0-3 yrs experienceRisk Certifications from established institutions is recommendedAny technical Certification in MS Office Advanced tools / SQL / Tableau / SAS is preferred.FRM Certified candidates will be preferredGeneral Skill Set:Strong knowledge in banking products across asset classes (FX/Rates/ Equity/ Credit and Commodities)Strong knowledge in Balance Sheet related concepts.Hands-on SQL, SAS, PYTHON preferred.Awareness of trading environment, macroeconomic fundamentals, market moves & potential impact on exposures.Excellent communication skills - verbal and writtenBe able to work with a global teamBe able to implement strategic ideas and enhance productivity and efficiency levelsWorking knowledge of the Group’s businesses, Governance structure and approach to risk management.Our Ideal CandidateManage ConductManage RiskManage PeopleFM ProductsProblem Solving skillsSAS/ Python/ SQLAnalytical Skills
