Network Specialist

Responsibilities:
1. Plan, design, and implement the migration strategy understanding network infrastructure.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network architects, security specialists, and project managers to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
3. Conduct thorough assessments of existing network configurations, policies, and security protocols to identify potential risks and challenges.
4. Configure and deploy Meraki Network, Wireless Access Points, firewall solutions based on project requirements and industry best practices.
5. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution during the migration process.
6. Document all migration activities, including network diagrams, configuration changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders throughout the migration project.
8. Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in network security and firewall management, Meraki switching and wireless technologies.
Requirements:1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.2. Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on network support, network migrations, firewall management and network security.3. Prior experience with large-scale migrations from Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto to Fortigate firewall solutions is highly desirable.4. Prior experience in network migrations.5. Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, VLANs, and subnetting.6. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Wireless, Meraki Networks, Routing and switching issues, firewall policies, NAT, VPN, and IPSec tunnels.7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.8. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.9. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.10. 24 / 7 Support – 40 Hrs / Week
