Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a MuleSoft Architect at DataSkate in Hyderabad. The MuleSoft Architect will be responsible for architectural design, software development for integration, project management, and overall integration strategy implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Integration Solutions: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Workday, and other ERP and SaaS systems.
  • MuleSoft Anypoint Cloud Configuration: Expertly configure and manage MuleSoft Anypoint Cloud components, including CloudHub, API Manager, SLAs, Load Balancer Configuration, VPC, ObjectStore, and CloudHub Alerts.
  • Core MuleSoft Development: Lead development using Anypoint Studio, focusing on connectors, secured web services, Salesforce integrations, OAuth, scopes, routers, flows, and expectation strategies.
  • System Design and Standards: Develop solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor less experienced engineers and administrators, providing constructive feedback and fostering the growth of MuleSoft skills across the organization.
  • MuleSoft Release Management: Lead the coordination of MuleSoft releases, including overseeing the execution of releases in production environments.
  • System Audits and Security: Conduct regular internal system audits, maintain Salesforce security model consistency, and ensure minimal configuration to meet security needs.
  • Documentation and Training: Create and maintain configuration workbooks, deployment plans, runbooks, and training guides. Assist in the creation of process documentation for new functionality.
  • Continuous Learning and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest MuleSoft feature releases and provide recommendations to drive greater efficiencies across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Certification: MuleSoft certification(s) such as MuleSoft Certified Architect are highly desirable.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with at least 8 years working extensively with the MuleSoft integration platform.
  • Proven experience integrating SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Workday, and other ERP and SaaS systems using MuleSoft.
  • Experience leading and managing MuleSoft integration projects, including project planning, execution, and delivery in highly complex environments.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, messaging systems, and other integration technologies.
  • Proficiency in project end-to-end deployment and experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

  • MuleSoft Add-Ons: Experience with MuleSoft RPA, IDP, APM, or COMPOSER is a plus.
  • Salesforce Platform: Prior experience with the Salesforce platform (e.g., Service Cloud, OMS, Data Cloud).
  • Additional Integration Platforms: Experience with other integration platforms such as IBM Integration Bus or Oracle SOA Suite.
  • EDI Experience: Experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is advantageous
