Job Responsibilities

The Operations Engineer receives team objectives, goals, and tasks from the Senior Operations Engineer and performs efficient and effective processes to best meet those targets in a quality manner.


The primary goals, but not limited to, of the Operations team, are as follows:

 

·       Manual Testing & Documentation :

o  Perform manual testing to identify bugs, verify fixes, and ensure product quality.

o  Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and detailed documentation.

o  Conduct regression testing and ensure all activities are clearly documented.

●      Automation Testing

o  Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium WebDriver.

o  Contribute to building and enhancing test frameworks and ensuring their integration into the CI/CD pipeline.

o  Execute automated tests and analyze results to support overall testing efforts.

●      Collaboration & Communication:

o  Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.

o  Communicate testing activities, issues, and risks effectively to the team and stakeholders.

●      Test Case & Issue Management:

o  Utilize tools like TestRail and Jira for test case management, issue tracking, and progress reporting.

o  Create detailed bug reports and work closely with the development team for timely resolution.

●      Quality Ownership:

o  Take ownership of the QA process, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.

o  Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in both manual and automated testing.

 

Qualifications

●      Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other related fields

●      Must have experience with testing automation tools.

●      Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to author professional product documentation and training material.

●      Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain collaborative work relationships within the company and with external business partners.
