Sangoma is looking for a talented, self-motivated Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead to join our fast paced, ever growing organization. The successful candidate will join our software engineering team and will have the opportunity to work with the latest Sangoma’s Asterisk based PBX platform.

The successful candidate will be required to overcome an extremely steep learning curve without a formal training process. Therefore the Candidate must be capable of quick and efficient self-study.

This is a permanent position located in our

Bangalore , India office and requires

WFO .

Working in a fast-paced growing company requires that candidates be self-starters, fast learners with excellent critical thinking and reasoning abilities.

CRITICAL REQUIRED SKILLS

TechnicalHands-on experience in PHP , PERL development using LAMP.Hands-on experience working with

FreePBX, AsteriskExperience writing code in Node JS on Linux platform would be add on advantage.Strong knowledge of source control: GIT.Experience building Web based Telephony applications an asset.Experience building web applications from scratch using PERL, PHP.Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)Experience in Linux server and application monitoring an asset

ROLEDevelopment of FreePBX or Asterisk based PBX project.Use of a wide range of web technologies: PERL, PHP, Node.js, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, etcWork with telecom VoIP protocols like SIP and H.323 and OSS telecom software like Asterisk.Design and develop RESTful APIs for the provisioning and management of telecom equipmentFull Linux development environment with exposure to Linux Administration and system development.
