As part of the Inline quality engineering team, you would be required to focus on test, qualify and automate our inline CASB/SWG Web UI solutions and you will collaborate with backend service teams to ensure the overall quality, reliability, scalability and performance of the user interface for Netskope products. You will work on both the frontend as well as the web application backend. As a member of this team, you will play a key role in the design, development and delivery of frameworks and automation to test our API backend in a CI/CD environment.What you will be doingUnderstand the use cases and workflows of CASB/SWG solutions.Involve in requirements gathering from Product Managers and design discussions.Design test plans & test strategy documents and closely work with the development team to cover all aspects of the features being developed.Development of automation scripts parallel to feature development to enable CI/CD. (i.e Zero Day Automation)Follow the Test process, QE best practices and suggest improvementsDo Code reviews, verify coding standards are being metWork closely with the technical support team to handle customer escalations. Analyze the test gaps that resulted in customer issues and improve test plan/strategy.E2E ownership from feature testing to production deployment to monitoring & alerting.Work closely with the development team and other stakeholders in various phases of product development to ensure alignment with strategy, planning, risks, and mitigations.Understanding major browser technologies to ensure that the Netskope web interface works seamlessly across all browsers.Required skills and experience8+ years of designing and developing UI Test automation FrameworksIn depth understanding of HTTP/s protocol & web content is a must.Experience building automation frameworks.Solid experience in Web User Interface testing.Familiarity with web data formats like JSON, MIME, XML, HTMLStrong expertise in Python as a programming language.Strong expertise in Selenium UI test automation tools, RESTful Web Service automation is a mustGood understanding of networking and application protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc...Hands-on experience with traffic analysis tools like Wireshark or Fiddler is good to haveGood understanding of security products like SWG, Web proxies or cloud security solutions is a big plusExcellent analytical, debugging & problem-solving skillsExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Opensource technologies is a plusKnowledge in CI tools like Bamboo/Jenkins /GitlabEducationBSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred#LI-JB3Netskope is committed to implementing equal employment opportunities for all employees and applicants for employment.
