Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer who will be responsible for investigating and resolving network-related issues while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality of deliverables by meeting deadlines, performing bug investigations, and maintaining seamless communication in both English and Japanese.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out assigned tasks within the due dates, collaborating with other teams while ensuring minimal or no impact on target customers.
  • Review, analyze, and explain bug scrub results for assigned bugs to reviewers and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments in English and Japanese via email and chat for assigned bug investigations.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and adapt with positive thinking.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration while conducting bug investigations as a Network Engineer.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Solid knowledge of Router and Switch equipment.
  • Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or higher) with strong business-level communication skills.
  • Strong business-level communication skills in English (email and chat).
  • Proven experience handling network-related projects for at least 23 years.
  • Relevant certifications such as Network Specialist Certification (JP - NW), CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.

Optional Skills

  • Experience in bug investigation, root cause analysis (RCA), creating workarounds (troubleshooting), and preparing explanatory materials for network/customer issues.
  • Prior support experience in troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting deliverables to customers.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks with 100% timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.
