Your Team's Impact   The mission of the Dealmakers & Wealth Strategic Business Unit (SBU) is to accelerate FactSet’s growth by strategically advancing the established sectors of Banking and Wealth Management, as well as driving accelerated expansion of two rapidly emerging sectors, Corporates and Private Equity/Venture Capital. We work by building and delivering market leading solutions via an open platform that seamlessly integrates differentiated content, workflow automation, and pioneers GenAI development. We learn through deep-rooted collaboration with our clients to understand their challenges and opportunities. What You'll Do   Design, develop, and maintaincore web applications, supporting APIsand client integrations with various software systems. Take ownership of and lead technical projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met. Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to gather, extract, and document requirements and todesign scalable solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are adhered to. Foster a developer ecosystem by writing documentation and championing modern engineering practices, tools, and industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.  What We're Looking For   Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience. 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on modern web applications.  Experience developing web applications using Node.js, Vue.js, Angular, or similar front-end frameworks. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with an ability to write scalable, testable, and maintainable code. Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting. JavaScript testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cypress. Desirable Qualifications Relational Databases such as PostgreSQL. Strong mentorship experience. Advocate for supporting team success. Experience working in an Agile environment. Proficiency with modern observability tools and practices (metrics, logging, and error tracking).
