Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced

IT Security Consultant

to strengthen our organization's information security posture, focusing on protecting IT assets, creative assets, research documents, and cloud-based workspace security. The ideal candidate will have a

strong background

in programming, particularly

Python, enterprise-level data security, and IT asset security . This role offers the opportunity for

software developers

with a

strong foundation in programming

to apply and further develop their skills in a security-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:A. Strategic Planning and Risk Management1. Assess and evaluate current security infrastructure and protocols.2. Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.3. Provide expert advice on best practices for data protection and cyber threat prevention, particularly in creative and research-based contexts.

B. System and Network Security1. Design and implement comprehensive security solutions for a mixed environment of Macworkstations (MacBook Pro, Mac Studio), Windows Workstations (Desktops and Laptops) andcloud-based services.2. Experience with securing large le storage systems and data transfer protocols for media les anddocuments.3. Leverage programming skills (especially Python) to automate security tasks, develop customsecurity tools, and improve incident response capabilities.

C. Cloud and Workspace Security1. Develop and maintain security protocols for Google Workspace, ensuring data protection andaccess control.2. Enhance security measures for protecting sensitive research documents and creative content incloud environments.

D. Incident Response and Threat Management1. Respond to and investigate security incidents, particularly those that might compromise creative or research integrity.2. Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies relevant to creative andresearch-focused organizations

E. Required Qualifications1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.2. 5+ years of experience in IT security, preferably within creative industry or research.3. Strong proficiency in

Python

programming, with an ability to automation solutions and developcustom tools.

F. Certifications:1. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)2. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)3. CompTIA Security+4. Google Workspace Security Certification
