Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Web Designer at Techosoft Solutions Ahmedabad. The Web Designer will be responsible for designing and creating visually appealing websites with user-friendly interfaces. They will also collaborate with the development team to ensure responsive web design and optimize graphics for web usage. Additionally, the Web Designer will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide creative design solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting clients to discuss their requirements and agree a brief.
  • Research user journey needs.
  • Keeping up to date with design trends and technological, software and accessibility developments
  • digital retouching and image editing
  • Build navigation-friendly wireframes, websites, and mock-ups that are usable, persuasive, and visually enticing.
  • Curate aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly graphics for the client's website.
  • Create responsive templates for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and tablets.
  • Design and implement website layouts, logos and branding in alignment with the brand values and target audience.
  • Suggest and execute a cohesive visual brand strategy for the company's website, blog, social media channels, and other digital assets.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry updates and trends in website design.
  • Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
  • Testing and improving the design of the website.
  • Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
  • Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
  • Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
  • Working with different content management systems.
  • Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
  • Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
  • Designing sample pages, including colors and fonts.
  • Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
  • Design a wide variety of digital assets including homepages, landing pages, site experiences, paid social ads, and emails.
  • Understand and re-arrange existing content to new design.
  • Complete projects both independently or in partnership with other designers.
  • Experience working on WordPress / Shopify / Magento themes.
  • Add on: Branding, Designing Social Media graphics and logos, Video Editing (Adobe AE, Premiere Pro)

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Web Designer

  • Designing tools: Adobe AI, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Adobe XD

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps

  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

  • Up to date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
