ResponsibilitiesLead the design and architecture of cloud-based data solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms, leveraging cloud-native technologies and services.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with our cloud data strategy and architecture principles.Design and implement scalable and cost-effective data architectures in the cloud, optimizing data storage, processing, and analytics capabilities for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies, tools, and services to support data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance in the cloud.Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering and analytics teams on cloud data architecture, best practices, and emerging trends in cloud computing and data management.Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cloud data solutions by staying updated with the latest technologies, methodologies, and best practices in cloud computing and data engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.8 years of experience

as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Solution Architect, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including services such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, etc.Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration techniques in a cloud environment.Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink is a plus.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

.Certifications in cloud technologies (., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

Experience

8 years of experience
