Key Skills and Technical Expertise Required:
Scala (preferred) or Python : Proficient in programming with a focus on Spark.
Spark Architecture: Must have hands-on experience with Spark Core, Spark SQL, DataFrames, and Spark Streaming.
Understanding of Driver Node , Worker Node , Stages , Executors , and Tasks .
Hadoop Ecosystem: Expertise in **HDFS** and **Hive** (mandatory).
Knowledge of **Oozie**, **Sqoop**, and similar tools.
Data Ingestion: Proven experience managing large-scale data ingestion (terabytes of data) from various sources.
SQL: Strong knowledge and coding abilities in SQL .
Shell Scripting: Proficiency in shell scripting for automation and tasks.
Kafka: Experience with Kafka is a plus.
Agile Methodology: Should be familiar with working in Agile environments .
Key Responsibilities:
Work on big data solutions using Scala and Spark .
Handle large-scale data ingestion and management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies .
Write efficient SQL queries and shell scripts to manage data pipelines.
Manage tasks involving HDFS , Hive , and other Hadoop ecosystem tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 6+ years of experience in big data technologies .
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently or in teams.
