Our AI-powered platform automates complex design tasks, dramatically reducing time-to-market and development costs in the $600B+ semiconductor industry.Currently bootstrapped and in pre-seed discussions, we're building the future of chip design.The OpportunityAs a Founding AI/ML Engineer, you'll:Shape & Lead- Build our technical foundation with entrepreneurial autonomy- Mentor junior engineers and set technical standards- Drive product direction, architecture, and company cultureInnovate & Deliver- Identify critical challenges and architect elegant solutions- Bridge technical and business stakeholders with exceptional communication- Tackle both ML and non-ML engineering challengesGrow & Build- Join a high-caliber team valuing technical excellence and startup spirit- Prioritize learning and long-term career trajectory- Embrace significant upside potential in a fast-moving startupWhat You'll DoResearch: Stay ahead of LLMs, VLMs, and GenAI advances, translating cutting-edge research into practical chip design solutionsEngineering: Own the full ML lifecycle—data processing, model architecture, training, evaluation, and MLOps. Design and maintain production LLM applicationsCollaboration: Partner with product engineers, designers, and data scientists to build AI solutions that transform chip design workflowsCommunication: Effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesRequired QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field- Ph.D. or equivalent experience is a plusExperience (3+ years in ML)- Deployed AI models in real-world production applications- Instruction fine-tuning and prompt engineering for domain-specific LLMs- Built retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines- LLM inference optimization (e.g., vLLM)- Cloud deployment and scaling of AI/ML systems- LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face)Bonus Experience- LangGraph, GPU/TPU provisioning, Kubernetes/MLOps- Context management (chunking, summarization, sliding windows)- AI-assisted coding tools and code generation challenges- Model monitoring and MLOps workflowsTechnical Skills- Core: Expert Python, PyTorch- Backend: Flask, FastAPI, Django for APIs and services- DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP- Plus: JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue.js, Node.js, SQL/NoSQL, REST/GraphQL APIsPreferred Qualifications- Research papers in AI/ML venues or impactful technical blog posts- Active open-source contributions, Kaggle competitions- Prior startup experience in fast-paced environmentsWhy Join Us?Founding team impact on a transformative technology High-growth potential in a massive industry Work with cutting-edge AI/ML technologies Collaborative, high-caliber team environment Significant equity upside potentialLocation: Bangalore, IndiaHow to Apply: Send your resume and a brief note about why you're interested to about advancing AI and thriving in dynamic environments?
