You will collaborate with stakeholders to define performance objectives and success criteria, develop performance test scripts, and analyze results to identify optimization opportunities. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior testers and staying up-to-date with industry trends in performance testing.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of performance test activities, including load testing, stress testing, and endurance testing.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance testing objectives and success criteria.Test Script Development: Design and develop performance test scripts using industry-standard tools.Results Analysis & Optimization: Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and propose performance optimization strategies.Reporting: Create detailed performance test reports and present findings to project teams and management.Performance Issue Resolution: Work closely with development teams to address performance issues and optimize application performance.Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance testing and optimization.Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior performance testers to enhance their skills and knowledge.Technical Expertise: Utilize knowledge of GC, thread, and heap analysis to troubleshoot and optimize performance.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Knowledge:Strong knowledge of GC, thread, and heap analysis.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java/JavaScript, or other relevant languages.Strong SQL skills for database-related performance testing.Test Tool Expertise:Experience with at least two performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad).Knowledge of web technologies including HTTP/HTML, web services, and true client protocol.Cloud & Kubernetes:Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.Knowledge of Kubernetes for containerized environments.Monitoring & Analysis Tools:Experience using AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Splunk for performance monitoring and analysis.Test Scenario Development:Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test scenarios.
