About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled
Embedded/Senior Embedded Software Engineer
to lead the development and deployment of embedded systems for next-generation autonomous platforms. This position sits at the intersection of hardware and software, requiring expertise to build robust, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems capable of operating independently in challenging environments.

The role involves architecting embedded solutions across platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, and microcontroller-based systems, while integrating subsystems like power management, sensor networks, motor control, and environmental monitoring into cohesive embedded frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture & Development

• Design, implement, and optimize embedded software for Jetson, Raspberry Pi, and MCU-based platforms
• Develop hardware abstraction layers, device drivers, and integration code
• Lead integration of subsystems such as BMS, motor controllers, leak detection, and power distribution

Hardware-Software Integration

• Interface with sensors and actuators using SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and GPIO
• Collaborate with electronics and mechanical teams to ensure alignment with real-world constraints
• Evaluate and select embedded hardware components for mission-critical applications

Debugging, Testing & Optimization

• Lead debugging and validation of embedded systems in lab and field conditions
• Develop automated test setups and maintain detailed documentation
• Optimize power, memory, and real-time performance for resource-constrained environments

Team Leadership & Project Contribution

• Mentor junior engineers in embedded systems and best practices
• Participate in architecture decisions and code reviews
• Ensure compliance with reliability, safety, and documentation standards

Required Skills & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field

Experience

• 2- 11 years in embedded systems development (3+ years in lead/architect roles)
• Hands-on with Linux-based systems (Jetson, Pi) and MCUs (ARM, STM32, etc.)
• Experience taking embedded systems from prototyping to production-level deployment

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in C++ with low-level hardware interface experience
• Strong knowledge of RTOS concepts and embedded Linux
• Skilled with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and hardware bring-up
• Familiarity with EDA tools (KiCad, Eagle)
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 is a plus
