Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Trainee Engineer to join our team, focusing on the
Erection, Testing, and Commissioning of electrical systems. This is an entry-level position perfect for a
fresh graduate with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE). This
role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic site environment, where you will learn to apply theoretical
knowledge to real-world applications under the guidance of our experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Engineer at Syntech Electromech, you will be responsible for assisting with and learning the
following core functions:
Testing & Commissioning:
Assist in the on-site erection, testing, and commissioning of MV AIS/GIS Panels, Switchyards (up to
220KV), EHV Breakers/Isolators (up to 400KV), Power & Distribution Transformers, and HV Cables (up to
66KV).
Learn to perform programming, parameterization, testing, and calibration of both Numerical and
Electromechanical Relays.
Gain hands-on experience in executing on-site inspections and tests to ensure installations meet
technical specifications, safety codes, and quality standards.
Electrical Operation & Maintenance:
Support the team in the overhauling and servicing of a variety of breakers and isolators from
manufacturers like Siemens, Schneider/Areva, and ABB.

Participate in the operation, maintenance, and supervision of electrical equipment at various project
sites.
Electrical Retrofitting & Revamping:
Assist in the implementation of retrofit solutions for circuit breakers and switchyard rehabilitation
projects.
Learn the process of relay retrofitting (Electromechanical to Numerical) and PLC Revamping.
Project & Documentation Support:
Provide on-site support to senior engineers and site supervisors.
Assist in the maintenance of detailed project documentation, including test reports, progress reports,
and safety records.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics
Engineering (EEE).
Technical Knowledge: A strong foundational understanding of electrical systems, power systems, and
industrial automation principles.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing
on-site challenges.
Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively
with teams and clients.
Drive & Motivation: A self-motivated, target-driven individual with a strong desire to learn and grow in
the field.
Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites across India as required.
